Hey there,

Thanks for spending some time to learn a little about the face behind Skin Kind.

I've been in the Health & Beauty industry for 20+ years now. I started out as a Massage Therapist and after struggling with my own skin issues (hello acne and erythema!) I decided to study my Dip. of Beauty Therapy as well. I loved skin so much, that I went on to specialise as a Dermal Therapist.

Over my career I've enjoyed working in some amazing day spas, taught both massage + beauty and proudly built up 2 award-winning businesses (Day Spa and a Cosmetic Skin Clinic). 

It was a fun and busy time but once my two gorgeous babies came along, I decided to try working from home. I loved the flexibility it offered... and Skin Kind Studio was born! 

Over the years I've tried my fair share of skin care. My fav is Epicure Cosmeceuticals, a beaut Aussie range that is a tried and true skin-changer! It also happens to be a pleasure to use, another of my criteria. I also recommend a lot of 'hero' products from other Australian ranges that I adore. I'm still always researching & trying new products too (much to my husband's delight... our ensuite often looks like a department store!)  

Today I'm still BIG into learning and after completing my Graduate Diploma of Dermal Science in 2022, I continue to invest in my education to ensure I stay up to date with an exciting and ever changing industry.  

At the end of the day I just love helping people achieve HEALTHY, well functioning skin at every age (not some impossible air-brushed standard that we are saturated with). I blend skin science with a holistic approach to get the best results for my clients, and provide a safe little space to come and relax and take care of yourself. I get to see time and time again the confidence people get when their skin improves. It's a pretty sweet gig!​
